Swap bodies are the road-and-rail workhorses of European logistics, demountable freight boxes that lift off a truck chassis and stand on their own folding legs, so a driver can drop one load and pick up another in minutes. Unlike ISO containers, swap bodies are built to European road dimensions, wider internally, so they take euro-pallets more efficiently. They are not designed for stacking or ocean shipping, but for intermodal road and rail work they are hard to beat on turnaround speed and pallet capacity.
