Open Top Containers

Some cargo will never go through a container door, it has to come in from above. Open top containers replace the solid roof with a removable tarpaulin over steel bows, and add a swing-out door header, so a crane can lower machinery, timber, glass or scrap straight down into the box.
Once loaded, the tarpaulin seals the cargo under cover and the container ships as normal. For over-height loads, the roof can stay off and the cargo shipped out-of-gauge, talk to us about arranging that.
Open top or hard top? Both allow top loading. An open top uses a tarpaulin, lighter and cheaper. A hard top uses a removable steel roof, more secure, more weatherproof, better for high-value cargo. Choose based on what you are protecting.
Available in 20 ft and 40 ft, new or used, ISO and CSC certified, shipped worldwide.
