Offshore DNV Containers

Offshore containers work in the harshest conditions on earth, lifted by crane in heavy swell, onto moving decks, in salt air and storm weather. They are built and certified to a different standard entirely: DNV 2.7-1, the specification that governs offshore lifting equipment.
Our offshore DNV containers feature reinforced frames, certified padeyes and lifting sets, and heavy-duty corrosion protection for the marine environment. They are supplied to oil and gas operators, offshore wind projects, marine contractors and anyone moving equipment to and from installations at sea.
Why DNV certification mattersA standard shipping container is not rated for offshore lifting. DNV 2.7-1 certification proves the unit and its lifting set can withstand the dynamic loads of a crane transfer at sea, it is a safety requirement, not a nicety, and operators will not accept anything less.
Available in 10 ft and 20 ft, new or used, with certification documentation supplied. Tell us your project and we will confirm specification and lead time.
