Insulated Containers

Insulated containers hold temperature without machinery. Thick foam-insulated walls, floor and ceiling slow heat transfer dramatically, keeping cargo cool on a hot day or protected from frost on a cold one, no power supply, no running costs, no moving parts to fail.
They are the sensible middle ground between a standard dry box and a full refrigerated unit. For short journeys, stable climates, or cargo that simply needs protection from temperature swings rather than active cooling, an insulated container does the job at a fraction of the cost.
Insulated or reefer? An insulated container passively resists temperature change. A reefer actively controls it with a powered refrigeration unit. If your cargo must be held at a precise temperature for a long voyage, choose a reefer. If it needs buffering from heat or cold, insulated is more economical.
